Turn gently.* > Status: Showing in/at/near Kubota Garden This is a "found" stone, one of pile of stones at camp that were deemed too worn, weathered, or uninteresting and were thrown into a heap. After scraping off the gray crust a few stripes started to make themselves known, and then the orange marble popped out. I love the feel of this after smoothing, and when the light catches it just right it can glow. The base, too, was part of the discard pile: I like its complementary colors.
